Squirrel Rescued in Time for New Years party
Windsor, CO-Firefighters said on Friday they were able to rescue a young squirrel from a utility pole after he climbed to the top and then lost his nerve.
Logan, a 4 month old squirrel in Northern Colorado followed a New Years dare from his peers to climb to the top of the utility pole on Friday afternoon. But once he reached the top, he froze and was unable to come down.
Local firefighters worked for hours to bring the mortified squirrel to safety, delivering him to anxious family and friends waiting to begin their New Years Eve. bash.
