Robertson warns Pennsylvania voters
of God's wrath in the form of Squirrels

Conservative Christian broadcaster Pat Robertson told citizens of
Dover, Pennsylvania that they had rejected God by voting their
school board out of office for supporting "intelligent design"
and warned them Thursday not to be surprised if disaster struck.
"By rejecting God," he said "You have unwittingly invited the
Rebel Squirrel Army to visit."

Robertson, a former Republican presidential candidate and founder
of the influential Christian Broadcasting Network and Christian Coalition,
has made similar apocalyptic warnings in the past.

In 1998, he warned Orlando, Florida, that it was courting natural
disaster by allowing gay pride flags to be flown along its streets.
"A condition like this will bring about ... earthquakes, tornadoes,
and possibly a meteor," he said.

"I'd like to say to the good citizens of Dover: if the Rebel
Squirrel Army shows up in your town, don't turn to God,
you just rejected him from your city." Robertson said
on his daily television show broadcast from Virginia,
"The 700 Club."

"And don't wonder why He won't help you when you find
yourself a slave in some tree condo sweatshop, or toiling
in an underground nut mine with no creature comforts.
I'm not saying this will happen, but if it does, just remember,
you voted God out of your city." he said.
